The Theseus Project is an introductory workshop that explores Western Hermetic Mysteries. The Project is located in Tucson, AZ. This project was built with the beginner to Hermetic Magick in mind. Participants who complete the Project should leave with all the tools needed to explore and study Magickal Techniques of various paths.

Magic vs. Magick - It was Crowley who chose to add the 'K' to the word Magick bringing back the Elizabethan spelling in order to differentiate the "Sleight of Hand" style Magic vs. the Magick we are going to be discussing. This spelling also changes the numeric value of the word as well and is well worth investigating its numeric values and relations.

There are several published definitions to Magick, too many to get into in this project. During this project we will be dealing with the definition provided to us by a Magickian by the name of Aleister Crowley.

We will be using the models of two Magickal Orders known as the Golden Dawn and the A.'.A.'. by utilizing some of their published curriculum. We will also be adopting the motto of the A.'.A.'.: "The aim of religion, the method of science."

We will be learning methods and techniques of discovering who and what we are, our own limits vs. the limits imposed upon us through society and culture, as well as methods on how to change those limits. It is by learning this that we can realize and begin to act on our full potential as a human being. We do this through experimentation, keeping in mind the Scientific Method and utilizing consistent documentation.

Subjects that we will be touching on will include: Yoga, Astrology, Tarot, QBLH, Alchemy, Healing, Ritual, Divination, Initiation and more.

I am sure we will grow and learn a lot from each other during the course of the work. We will be the first of a series of ongoing studies into beginning Magickal Curriculums. Thank you for your participation and good luck on accomplishing the Great Work.
